The Mars Volta, Gogol Bordello head Detour 08

L.A. Weekly has announced the lineup for its third annual Detour Music Festival, finally unveiling one of the summer’s last kept secrets. After playing host to the likes of Beck, Justice, and Queens of the Stone Age in years past, this year’s version, scheduled to go down October 4 in downtown Los Angeles, will host similar sized heavy hitters along with a number of indie favorites.

Tickets for the LA WEEKLY DETOUR MUSIC FESTIVAL go on sale this Friday, August 1, at 12:00 PM (PT) via all Ticketmaster outlets, charge by phone at 213-480-3232 or 714-740-2000 or online at www.ticketmaster.com. Tickets are $40.50 with a portion of the proceeds benefiting TreePeople (http://www.treepeople.org). Note: this show is rain or shine and the lineup is subject to change.
