AC/DC stage first world tour in eight years
If this year isn’t hopping already, NME confirms that the heart of Australia’s rock and roll body, AC/DC, will partake in their first world tour in just a shade under a decade. If that’s not enough, AC/DC has rumors swirling around that the new album is called Black Ice. The catch so far is that it’s only available through Wal-Mart. Here are the digs…
AC/DC have confirmed their first world tour in eight years, an 18-month jaunt set to kick off this October. The tour will be in support of the band’s new album, set to also be released this autumn. The record, rumoured to be titled ‘Black Ice’, is the band’s first since 2000’s ‘Stiff Upper Lip’ and in the US will only be available through Walmart stores.
Even better for us, the tour is expected to start in Chicago (all that hyping this year paid off!). So, forget those satellite blues, grow a stiff upper lip, get some dirty deeds done for dirt cheep, and remember…rock and roll ain’t noise pollution! Let’s look forward to October and a whole lot more.
Check Out:

I can’t wait for them to Tour “Black Ice” here in Canada. I really hope that they get Don Coleman to open for them if they’re on the East Coast. Don’s song “Women, Whiskey & Rock’n'Roll” (celebrating the life and spirit of Bon Scott) has been airing along with “Rock & Roll Train” on several stations. It’s even had the homage video on AC/DC’s website at - acdc.com/fromtheband. Would definitely be a TNT concert.
