A few hours after their early afternoon set on Lollapalooza’s Bud Light Stage, we had an opportunity to sit down with the Black Lips for a few minutes. Though the Atlanta natives had a bit of a rockstar appeal to them, and were a bit laid back in contrast to some of the band’s more recent highlights, the four-piece outfit still offered a rather down-to-earth persona while discussing the mixbag of questions we asked.

The Black Lips next head to New York for a McCarren Pool performance with long-time friends and fellow Georgia natives Deerhunter.
