Brooklyn Electronic Music Fest debuts this weekend

This weekend certainly offers a variety of music festival options for folks in the east coast. Between Coachella’s little sister, All Points West, the U.S. edition of Virgin Mobile Festival, and the American Eagle sponsored, Anthony Keidis approved North American Music Union, the northeast will be rocking with sounds all weekend long.

But say you’re not too fond of lots of people in one place, or after last weekend’s Lollapalooza, you find yourself penniless? What is one to do? Well, you could always stop by the first annual Brooklyn Electronic Music Festival.

Scheduled to go down this Saturday, August 9th at The Yard in Brooklyn, New York, the festival will feature some of the brightest DJs the northeast has to over, 14 to be exact, on two stages from noon to 9:00 p.m. Among the acts confirmed to appear:

Treasure Fingers, Purple Crush, The Glass, Cobra Krames, Todosantos, Neon Coyote, Lismore, Finger on the Pulse, Bad Decision, VDRK, Rekles, Loose Shus & Romanoff, Subdrive DJ’s, Crime Novels, and special guests

Tickets, $10 online & $15 at the door, are currently available via ticketweb.com. RSVP here.
