Metallica debuts song; releases tour dates

We’ve all been waiting patiently. It seems like a never ending process, but then again, it could be worse (e.g. Chinese Democracy). However, next month, Metallica will finally unveil Death Magnetic… September 12th, to be exact. Fortunately for the “ever so patient”, metal head fans, the band had a busy weekend and released some goodies to hold us over.
The first piece of good karma is a sprawling, national tour, something that’s been in the cards for months. Those unfortunate enough to have missed the band’s appearances at both Bonnaroo and last weekend’s Ozzfest will finally have the chance to catch the metal act for themselves.
And speaking of Ozzfest, James Hetfield & Co. debuted a new song at this year’s festival one off. It’s called “Cyanide” and yes, you can hear it below. I know, we really do baby you nowadays, huh?
Only a few more weeks, guys. Keep spinnin’ those oldies.
