Okkervil River, Shearwater hit the road
Back in May, Jonathon Meiburg chose to leave Okkeril River in order to focus 100% of his attention on Shearwater. Since then, Meiburg and Shearwater have dropped their fifth studio album, Rook, while Will Sheff and Okkeril are busy preparing for their own release - The Stand Ins hits music shelves on September 9th.
What’s more, both outfits also have a slew of new tour dates to look forward to in the coming months. In other words, two times the fun! After all, you can’t like Shearwater without also digging Okkervil, right?
