It’s Out There! GnR’s “Shackler’s Revenge”
Guns N’ Roses fans saving enough cash to poney up for Rock Band II might be able to pocket it. Thanks to the “magical world of the internet”, the upcoming Chinese Democracy track, “Shackler’s Revenge”, has found its way to the masses, and the fans are eatin’ it up. Hey, you starve a dog for so long, it’s bound to bite at anything, right?
So, what about the song? Well, it’s not too bad. With crunchy guitars (Buckethead, people!) and a Reznor-like Axl Rose, the industrial rock track is a bit different than the usual Guns style, but with those signature solos and that trademark scowl at certain places, it’s not too different a song to stomach. Then again, any current GnR fan has a pretty strong stomach for new material.
Lets just thank the gods that it’s not a pirate sing-a-long number, huh?
Rock Band II will be released September 14, while Chinese Democracy will find its way out before the end of the world, vaguely December 21, 2012. Will they even have Dr. Pepper by then? Ugh.
Go mine the internet, folks. It’s out there.
HINT: It’s also being labeled as “Chicken Dinner.”
