NYC, San Fran to dance soon

With the number of dance festivals growing by the day, folks on both coasts of the United States have plenty of opportunities to get their techno and house fix in the coming months. San Francisco and New York are particularly fortunate as both cities will be seeing some especially quality dance-friendly events in the very near future.

Billed as an “entirely different world where sounds are played out in vivid colors right before your very eyes,” Spundae will bring the Carnival to San Francisco on Saturday of Labor Day weekend.

Carnival’s website provides funky dance music to serve as a backdrop when you purchase tickets and read about the venue.

New York, NY @ Boat Party/Studio B/The Yard

Made Events is bringing 28 straight hours of the music’s best techno and house music to New York over the upcoming Labor Day weekend. The whole thing gets started at a boat party on Sunday, then proceeds to two separate events at Studio B and The Yard the following day.

Love Fest

In 2007, some 85,000 people turned out to what basically was America’s biggest dance music event - San Francisco’s Love Fest. On October 4th, the event will return for another edition and will feature everything from a parade to an Armin van Buren performance.
