AC/DC reveal tracklist; cover art; online release?

It’s been quite the month for rock n’ roll. If a globe trotting tour by Metallica doesn’t do it for you, then how about some more information from Aussie rockers, AC/DC. If you’ve been under a rock, and may God help you, the classic rockers are releasing their first studio album in eight years. It’s called Black Ice and yes, it may be their last album.

But let’s not get too down about that. Lots of information comes today, including both the album’s track list and cover art (right below). Furthermore, those worried about a Wal-Mart only release will be happy to know that there’s an online pre-sale happening at a few outlets (ACDC.com, Walmart.com and Samsclub.com) for just under twelve dollars. The only catch? The album’s not due out until October 20th.

No word yet on dates and cities for the tour, but today’s helping of news bites should keep you rockers in check. If not, hold on to your horses, we’re only weeks away. Not to mention, the first single will be released next week, August 28th.

So that’s something to be excited about, right?

  1. Yeah, but at least you don’t have to trek there. For us Chicagoans, we don’t even have a Wal-Mart.

  2. that looks like it could still be exclusive to Wal-Mart. you would expect the band’s website to have it, and it being on Wal-Mart’s and Sam’s Club’s websites doesn’t say much either, as both companies are owned by Wal-Mart.

  3. [...] Who will open for AC/DC on its forthcoming North American tour? That has been the questions plaguing music fans since the classic rockers first announced details of the dates that will take the group around the country in support of its upcoming album, Black Ice. [...]
