Neil Young’s “indie” driven tour
Neil Young fans rejoice! After having his European tour was met with critical acclaim and declared a smashing success, Young will now turn his sights to North America. Dates are starting to trickle in on LiveNation.com with “indie” stalwarts, Death Cab For Cutie and Wilco. Death Cab will cover the first block of the tour in October and early November before heading over to Europe for their own headlining tour.
Wilco will open for the late November and December dates, excluding the 12/9 Rosemont Show. The second opener is yet to be determined for this show; however, Los Angeles based Everest will open each show. Tickets will begin to go on-sale early next week via Ticketmaster.com with prices ranging from $50 to $250.
Neil Young toured last fall, fresh off his release of Chrome Dreams II, spending multiple days in major North American markets such as Chicago, Toronto, Boston, and New York. These shows will also be his first in his homeland of Canada since his three night stand in Toronto at Massey Hall last November.

wtf Death Cab. I love you but you have already played about 54 shows in the NW this year. I’ve seen 3 near idenitical shows in the past 3.5 months. I must admit though I never get tired of hearding “Transatlanticism” as the set closer.
I’m sure easterners are saying the same thing about Wilco. How about a little tradesies?
Damn it Neil! What about the North Bay?? You live there!!
