Aerosmith heads back to the studio in October
For almost forty years now, Boston’s original bad boys of rock and roll, Aerosmith, have been tearing their place in music history, and the modern age is no exception. According to the Boston Globe, the Boston quintet will return to the studio to release their first album since 2004’s Honkin’ On Bobo. Details are a bit sketchy, but the band and the album could make an appearance by next spring.
In the meantime however, Aerosmith drummer Joey Kramer has his own plans in the mix:
Joey Kramer is staying busy with bluesman James Montgomery, playing dates as the Kramer/Montgomery Band. The gigs are Sept. 12 at the Roxy and Sept. 13 at the Academy of Music in Northampton, with tickets going on sale via TicketWeb.
Kramer’s gigs will include Boston musicians J. Geils (of the J. Geils Band) and Sib Hashian and Barry Goudreau, previously of the classic lineup of Boston.

AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mr. Zeigler, can you not copy correctly from the Globe? The members you reference as from BOSTON haven’t been in that band for about a quarter of a century.
Mr. Voice, if that is your name, thank you for bringing it to my attention. Could you please fix your website? I tried to log onto it, but there was a comma in the address and it wouldn’t work for me.
Thanks.
