The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus works on follow up
As if this year hasn’t been overly busy for the Jacksonville natives, which included a headlining stint at the Bamboozle Festival back on May 3rd, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus announced via their myspace page this morning that the band is currently working on a follow up to their hugely successful debut Don’t You Fake It with famed producer Howard Benson (Hoobastank, P.O.D., Less Than Jake, and Daughtry). As a result of the studio efforts, the band canceled their appearance on this year’s Warped Tour:
The overwhelming response to the band recently prompted RJA to send regrets via their MySpace page to their now-worldwide fanbase that they would not be joining this summer’s Warped Tour. Although RJA have been fan favorites for three years running, they assured fans that the time was being well-spent in the studio and even more productive than anticipated with Benson behind the board.
Things aren’t a total loss however, as the Jackonville natives’ sophomore album will see an early 2009 release. Unfortunately, no specific date has been given at this time.
