AC/DC provides 30 second teaser of “Rock N Roll Train”
In the words of Australia’s hardest rocking band, AC/DC, “It’s a long way to the top if you wanna rock n’ roll,” the Sydney quintet announced today via Blabbermouth that a thirty-second clip of “Rock N Roll Train”, the first single off of the band’s upcoming fifteenth album Black Ice is now available on its myspace page.
The full single will see an August 28th release worldwide, and from the teaser provided, AC/DC hasn’t sounded edgier in over a decade. A recently completed video will accompany the release.
According to Undercover News, one fan at the shoot said in an online posting, the song “has a heavy driving drumbeat with bass being loud n hard to me. It sounded like a cross between ‘Hard As A Rock’ and ‘All Screwed Up’.”
The fans were told to jump and wave their arms while they were filmed for the chorus of the song which goes “Runaway train, running off the track.”
The set looked something like “Terminator” with big cogs turning and flaming flying out.
One can only hope that these scenes will be reenacted in person once AC/DC kicks off their North American tour (dates still to come). It certainly is a long way to the top, but with AC/DC blaring on the way, rock and roll will never die.
