Ryan Adams = Published Author?
As if this morning’s new music wasn’t enough, there is now word that Ryan Adams will soon turn his sights to the literacy world. Yes folks, according to Adams via his personal blog, the singer/songwriter will be publishing a book entitled Infinity Blues, to be published by Akashic Books. The question that now is surely on everybody’s mind - when does he sleep and if he does, for how long?
i woke up today to a great email from my bosses at AKASHIC BOOKS……
INFINITY BLUES- (“domestic-release” working cover)….wow….i guess this dream is coming true…..my grandparents, who taught me to write, and type and dream, i am so proud of all your hard work today, even if this is a long long sad bookbut some funny too, just like those black and white movies in the heat of the eastern seaboard- rolling through the windows of our home…..i am so humbled and so PROUD to be an AKASHIC BOOKS author……
man, this is just crazy, like when i saw the first test pressing of the first 7inch record i was on…..
We are all happy for you Ryan, but honestly don’t you think you left “a little of your heart” with your ten albums, hundreds of unreleased songs, and countless other efforts?
Anyhow, still no word on the release date or what the book is actually about, though passed on most of Adams’ previous works, it should be something rather unique.
