STP keeps the tour dates coming
Believe it or not, some six months after reuniting, Scott Weiland and Stone Temple Pilots are still alive and kicking. In fact, after a summer which has seen headlining performances at Summerfest and Virgin Mobile Festival, the California based rockers have chosen to add more tour dates for the coming months, pretty much confirming that either they haven’t gotten sick of Weiland yet, or the latter, but they’re just milking him until the very end.
Regardless, the new dates center around the band’s upcoming headlining performances at this weekend’s Bumbershoot and October’s Voodoo Music Experience. Once this leg is finished, the band will reportedly enter the studio to begin recording a new studio album, the follow up to 2001’s Shangri-La Dee Da.
