The Pogues unveil Christmas plans

The Pogues unveil Christmas plans

What better way to spend your Christmas season than by watching Shane MacGowan recreate the magic of “Fairytale of New York” in the all out mayhem of a live Pogues show. Well, if you’re intrigued by the idea and/or are planning a trip to Europe in December, you’ll have the opportunity to take part in this very activity. As has been the case for the last five years, The Pogues will again embark on a U.K. Christmas tour in December.

Pre-sale tickets will available begining tomorrow, August 28th via seetickets.com. Following the tour with The Pogues, MacGowan will embark on a post-Christmas tour with Sharon Shannon and other special guests.

Over the summer, the band celebrated its 25th year of existence with the release of Just Look Them Straight In The Eye…, a compilation boxset featuring rarities, radio sessions, demos, movie music and live recordings.
