Check Out: Blestenation’s new “Ghost”-ly remix

New York’s alternative rap collective Blestenation has recently begun creating official remixes of songs by artists such as The Cool Kids and Puscifer (featuring Maynard James Keenan from Tool). The band has been around since 2000 and has toured and recorded with artists like Method Man, Travis Barker and Ghostface Killah.

Tuesday morning an exclusive remix of Ladytron’s “Ghosts” was released by Brooklyn natives. The group keeps the same organ hum and earthy bass line from the original while also keeping the chorus hook intact. However, Blestenation does add some percussion and verses from members MCs Werdplay and Various, creating a completely unique style.
