Stagecoach to return in 2009, just two days this time…

Goldenvoice is ready to starting talking about the 2009 festival season, only not about the festivals you’d expect, at least just not yet. In an interview with The Desert Sun, festival founder/producer Paul Tollett confirmed that the country-friendly Stage Coach Music Festival will return in 2009 for a third go around, only unlike this year’s edition, which featured the likes of The Eagles, Rascal Flatts, and Tim McGraw, 2009 will offer a scaled down, two-day event.

“It’s going to be kind of similar, just over the two days,” he said…

“It’s a two-day festival,” Tollett said. “Last year The Eagles popped up, so that was just an anomaly. California’s coolest band pops up and you grab it.”

Tollett didn’t give any specifics, but did go on to note that he is “keee deep in booking bands” for both Stagecoach and the larger known Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival.
