Grayceon, the unique progressive metal trio featuring electric cello, guitar and heavy drum work, has unveiled a video for its latest single, “Song For You”. Since forming in 2006, the San Francisco based group composed of Max Doyle, Jackie Perez Gratz, Zack Farwel has earned praise for its intense work habits and nonstop touring.
“Song For You” is the shortest song from the band’s debut album, Grayceon, which was released in 2007. The video matches up perfectly to the song’s rawness; shedding light on its ability to overwhelm you with fast-paced thrashing that makes you want to start a bar fight. Lyrically, the song also explores the dark side of suburban malaise and sends a really dark message home with its audience.
WARNING: The video gets pretty gory at the end, so if you aren’t much of a horror fan I’d suggest turning away.
