ANTI*POP announces initial lineup
This November, the ANTI*POP Music Festival will return for its third go around in Orlando, Florida. Scheduled to take place between November 13 and 16, this year’s edition will see some 100+ acts take over the downtown area on two outdoor stages and 10 indoor venues. Names filling out the initial portion of the lineup include the following:
Conor Oberst & the Mystic Valley Band, Matt Costa, The Black Lips, Mike Doughty, Pelican, Murs, The Aquabats, Maylene & the Sons of Disaster, Kayo Dot, Stephen Brodsky, Mark Kozelek, Suburban Legends, The Supervillains
As a whole, the lineup will look to “resent edgy acts that are breaking into the mainstream through new methods of marketing, forward thinking, and strong DIY principals.”
Individual show tickets and four-day festival passes will be available via ticketmaster.com in the near future. Local bands interested in taking part can submit their applications through sonicbids.com.
