Oasis attacked at Virgin Festival

Oasis brought an unexpected surprise to its headlining performance at the Toronto edition of the Virgin Festival this past Sunday. Only this surprise was one that neither the Gallagaher brothers and their loving fans were expecting, nor want to ever experience again.

According to Gigwise, an unknown individual made it onto the stage during the band’s performance of “Morning Glory”. Within seconds, the assailant had made it past security and tackled Noel to the ground, leaving the entire venue, including the band in a state of shock.

The whole incident was caught in the below video…

Once security took control - and Liam finished his fruitless punching - Oasis did take a short break before returning to close out the evening with a rendition of “I Am the Walrus”.
