Kayne’s new album gets a name, release date?
Though Kanye West has done little to downplay the rumors that he will be releasing a new album before the end of the year, the Chicago native has yet to officially confirm the news. While this still remains the case, more and more signs seem to be signaling its impending release.
As Stereogum points out, both Target.com and Amazon.com are now taking pre-orders for an album entitled 808’s & Heartbreak with a December 16, 2008 release date under Kanye West’s name. While a tracklist does not accompany the retail pages, it’d be a safe to assume the recently debuted “Love Lockdown” - a song West calls his “favorite song 2 date” - will be included. Now only if this song would show up on iTunes.
Hopefully once Kanye gets back from Fashion Week, he’ll confirm all this and more…
