Mock Orange releases tour dates with album

On Tuesday, Mock Orange released Captain Love, the Indiana based outfit’s first endeavor since 2004’s critically acclaimed Mind Is Not Brain. Produced by Jeremy Ferguson, most notably known for his work on My Morning Jacket’s Z, the 11-track effort (+1 bonus track), is described to pick up where Mind Is Not Brain left off, the band’s most “sophisticated, ambitious and affecting release to date.”

Look for our impressions - in the form of an album review - later today. Or you can make your own, either by picking up a copy of Captain Love through Wednesday Records or attending any one of Mock Orange’s upcoming tour dates.
