Heads explode with news of Radiohead’s work

While not particularly surprising, especially considering Ed O’Brien first mentioned future recording plans back in May, Radiohead has reportedly indeed begun work on the follow up to 2007’s In Rainbows. In an interview with BBC 6Music, Colin Greenwood confirmed that the outfit has begun writing material for what will be its eighth full-length studio album, and will take it to the studio once done with remaining tour obligations.

Or will they?

After all, it did take Thom Yorke and company nearly four years to crank out In Rainbows. In other words, perhaps all the excitement is a bit premature?

In the meantime, you can get your Radiohead fix in either ballet form, orchestral performance, or live and in person…from Japan.
