In what will be the Canadian outfit’s first extended stint in the United States, Ohbijou will soon embark on a two-month North American co-headlining tour with The Acorn. The dates will be in support of the two group’s new shared 12″, which features a mix of covers and new material.

Ohbijou, which initially began as a solo project of singer/songwriter Casey Mecija before eventually earning the attention and acclaim of the Canadian music press last year, will also soon begin work on the follow up to 2006’s Swift Feet For Troubling Times, tentatively scheduled for release in early 2009.
