MSTRKRFT bounces to “Fist of God”
After spending the summer entertaining fans from Tennessee to British Columbia, Toronto based MSTRKRFT is readying some serious plans for the coming months. After all, between a brand new maxi single, album, and two-month long, North American tour, you likely won’t have any trouble finding the electro-friendly sounds of Jesse Keeler and Al-P.
In advance of Fist of God, the follow up to 2006’s landmark The Looks, Toronto dancefloor juggernaut MSTRKRFT is set to release a Maxi Single of club-banging blog fave, and F’N MTV theme song, “Bounce.” The eight-track offering, due via Dim Mak Records on October 7th, features the original N.O.R.E. and Isis of Thunderheist-assisted track, released in April, “Vuvuvu,” and a plethora of remixes from rising stars in the dance community.
One of those remixes, from Felix Cartel, can be heard either below or via RCRD LBL. Felix Cartel will supporting MSTRKRFT on its upcoming “Fist of God” tour.
No word however, on when the CD/LP version of Fist of God, the duo’s upcoming second studio album, will be hitting record shelves.

This album is some of the worst music I’ve heard in my life. It’s absolute garbage. Not only that, it took years for these guys to get a 2nd album together. Did they actually think that getting skilled and well known rappers on their album was going to help their terrible songwriting skills? What a waste of money. The money they had to make their album could’ve gone to someone more talented. Alas, that’s how this wicked world works.
