Gov’t Mule taps Back Door Slam for fall tour

After spending much of the last few months splitting time between summer festivals and Kid Rock, Back Door Slam will join forces with jammers Gov’t Mule for the band’s upcoming “Kinder Revolution Tour.” The month long trek, scheduled to begin in at the end of October, will mark Gov’t Mule’s first full-length tour in nearly six months and the first with newly recruited bassist Jorgen Carlsson. Back Door Slam on the other head, will use the dates as their final performances before returning to the studio later this year to begin work on the follow up to 2007’s Roll Away.
