Mudvayne readies album, fall tour
Finally ready to follow up to 2005’s Lost and Found, Mudvayne has announced plans to release The New Game on November 18th. Produced by Dave Fortman, known primarily for his work with Slipknot, the 11-track effort will look to please fans with tones described as a “a little more earthy sounding and warmer” than the Illinois’ outfit previous material.
“It’s heavy and has great hooks, but it also has some moments that are a little more rock n’ roll that are really cool…It’s not anything drastic, but every now and then you’ll catch a little hint of old-school rock”

Keep a heads up, however, as the first single, “Do What You Do”, will hit your ears on September 23rd.
In addition to the release, the band will begin a U.S. tour on October 28th in El Paso TX. Stopping in all major U.S. markets, fans who pre-order The New Game via Best Buy will be given first dibs on tickets. Tour dates after the jump.
