These United States offer up new album and tour dates

Ahead of Tuesday’s release of their sophomore effort, Crimes, These United States are gearing up for a busy few months ahead. In addition to the latest studio endeavor, recorded in just six days at Shangri-La Studios, the Kentucky based outfit has unveiled a brand new music video for the song “Get Yourself Home (In Search of the Mistress Whose Kisses Are Famous)” and a slew of North American tour dates.

The folk friendly These United States - some have described them as a mix between Andrew Bird and Beck, which seems like a pretty accurate description - made quite a name for themselves earlier this year with appearances at SXSW and Glastonbury where they offered a self-described “piss and vinegar, hoot and holler, multi-instrumental mischief and sly saloon smiles” style.
