Remix Radiohead’s “Reckoner”
You know you like the alliteration . . . After the overwhelming success of the “Nude” remix project a few months ago, Radiohead is ready for some fan/band made creations. This time, the In Rainbows song up for mutilation will be “Reckoner”.
Like the “Nude” remix extravaganza, the song will be purchasable in separate track “stems” from iTunes. (Whatever happened to Radiohead hating iTunes?). Six stems are available: bass, lead vocal, backing vocals, guitars, piano/strings and drums. With the stems, fans can do a number of things to create their own mixes.
After the mixes have been made, they can be uploaded to radioheadremix.com to be voted on by others.

…we thought it only fair to do the same with a tune that at least is in 4/4. You can get the stems (the different instruments/elements) from here. Sample, cut, take the sounds, whatever. Play it in a club. Or your room. Then if you want you can upload your finished mixes to www.radioheadremix.com and be judged by everyone else. YOu can create a widget allowing votes from your own site, Facebook or MySpace to be sent through too.
