The Killers announce three U.S. dates, more on the way?
Looks like something is brewing in Killers’ land, but from what we can tell, aside from Ticketmaster, the Vegas based band is keeping details pretty close to the vest.
Still, one thing is apparent and that is The Killers will be performing at least three shows in the U.S. in October, one month prior to the release of their fourth studio album, Day & Age, on November 25th. The dates include a stop in the band’s hometown as well as two rather intimate performances at San Francisco’s Warfield Theater and New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom, which seat 2,300 and 2,500 persons respectively.

By the beginning of November, Brandon Flowers and Co. are due back in London, perhaps meaning that the aforementioned dates are just warm up gigs, ahead of a full-length North American tour for sometime in 2009. For example, if you believe the first batch of rumors for the Langerado Music Festival, The Killers will be in the U.S. come March.
If you’re not into the idea of waiting, you can pick up tickets for the three shows beginning this weekend via Ticketmaster.com. Or you could blast the recently revealed “Human” for the next three-plus months as you sit and wait…
