Vivian Girls have busy time ahead
If you’re a fan of our Friday Mixtape, you are probably quite familiar with Brooklyn’s Vivian Girls. Since capturing audiences with unique dream pop melodies on their self-titled debut earlier this year, the all-female trio who take their name from Henry Darger material will use the coming months to reissue, tour, and debut.
The self-titled effort will be re-released on both vinyl and compact disc formats on October 7th via In The Red Records. Ahead of this, a brand new 7″ entitled I Can’t Stay and a music video for the song “Tell The World”, the band’s first ever video, have been unveiled. And to cap it all off, tour dates with a number of fellow indie favorites will proceed and follow everything.
Sweet and simple.
