Wu-Tang Clan gets documented
It seems the clan is always keeping busy, what with this summer’s RZA album DigiSnacks and August’s GZA album Pro Tools, both with accompanying tours. This being true, I think it’s safe to say that anything Wu-Tang Clan is good news, especially the announcement of Wu: The Story of the Wu-Tang Clan, a brand new documentary chronicling the hip-hop group’s nearly 20 years of existence.
The DVD, which debuts on BET on November 13th before hitting music outlets everywhere five days later, will include rare footage, interviews, and all things Wu. An accompanying “greatest hits” CD, featuring a mix of Wu-Tang classics and various solo selections, will be included with the DVD.
Ahead of the film, the Staten Island outfit will make its entire back catalog available digitally for the first time beginning in October.
Here is the film’s preview, in all its cheesy yet moving glory, as only the Wu could do it:

I fully expect this to be awesome.
