Watch: Weezer’s “Troublemakin’”
Keeping up with the Hootenany theme that’s earmarked its latest release, Weezer is back at it with another video. This time it’s for “Troublemaker”, the album opener off of this year’s self titled, sixth album (a.k.a. The Red Album) from the California rockers. Considering Rivers Cuomo has pretty much done about everything one can with a video (e.g. Muppets, YouTube stars, Playboy bunnies, and The Fonz), it was about time he started breaking some records.
And that he does here with the new video, as the world’s largest dodgeball game is played, the most skaters on one skateboard are seen, and dare I mention the largest air guitar ensemble had? Yes, I do dare. So, have a look for yourself. It may not be the best tune the group’s come up with, but it’s still catchy nonetheless.
Besides, when was the last time you watched a video for music? Tsk.
