Check Out: Björk and Yorke go all “Nattura”

Sure it sounds more like some awesome new health food craze, but on October 20th, “Nattura” will have indie kids everywhere scrambling to their nearest computer and downloading Björk’s hot new, drum-friendly, Thom Yorke backing, charity giving single.

But you don’t have to wait until then to get a taste of the song designed to raise awareness for Icelandic’s environment. Nope, in fact, the single has already surfaced compliments of the always wonderful YouTube.

While the Radiohead frontman certainly has a distinct presence in the tune - though as far as I can tell it does indeed seem to be just some good old fashioned looping - “Nattura” is highlighted by some stunning vocal work and eerie, electric drum beats. It’s not something I could see myself listening to on “repeat,” but hey, it’s definitely original.

Regardless if you like it or not, be sure to pick it up on the 20th. After all, it is for a good cause. 100% of the song’s proceeds go to the cause.
