El Guincho finally ready to unveil Alegranza

Some eight months after Alegranza was first released to European audiences to critical acclaim, El Guincho is finally ready to unveil its sophomore full-length in all its African influenced, psychedelic glory to North America. On October 21st, Pablo Díaz-Reixa, as he’s better known by friends and family, will offer the nine-track record as both a CD and double LP via Young Turks/XL Recordings.

But for those hoping for something a bit more personal from the musician named after a native bird of his native Canary Islands, no worries. In addition to the long-awaited recorded offering, El Guincho has announced plans for a month-long winter tour in support of the release.
