Parts & Labor takes Receivers on the road, wants your help…

Ahead of Tuesday’s release of Receivers, Parts & Labor have announced plans to take their noise pop styles on the road for a month-long North American trek. However, this won’t be your prototypical tour as the New York outfit will seek to embody the fan participation component of its fourth studio album in a more live setting.

This being the “Receivers” tour, the band figured “why stop now?”. So in this spirit of group participation, Parts & Labor have set up a special toll-free telephone number where you can call in, leave an audio recording of anything you like, and the band will take these recordings and incorporate them into their live shows on the tour. From the band: “Bits of conversation, field recordings, noises, songs — anything audible is welcome!”
