The Gay Blades plan trek across the country

Still reeling from the excitement of the recent release of their debut album, Ghosts, The Gay Blades have announced plans for a rather extensive U.S. tour. Kicking off with four shows at the CMJ Music Marathon later this week, the trek will mark the first time a number of cities will get a chance to check out the two-piece New York outfit’s unique “trash pop” sound up close and personal - something which is apparently quite worthwhile. Alternative press deems The Gay Blades tune “Oh No” (check out below) “ranks among the best songs the Arctic Monkeys never wrote.”
