May we recommend?

  • Our friends at Ear Farm will be hosting their fairly own party at Pianos! Sam Champion and Takka Takka are among the acts scheduled to perform at the free event. Oh, and did we mention there will be drink specials? Score!
  • The good guys over at After The Jump will bring Crystal Antlers, Ringo Deathstarr, Starfucker, and many others to the Knitting Factory for an official showcase.
  • Once Ear Farm is done, Free Yr Radio will take over Pianos for their own showcase, which will feature the likes of Chairlift, The King Left, and Bumblebeez.
  • Stones Throw Records are going the free route as well, offering Madlib, PB Wolf, Edan the DJ, and others at Gallery Bar for the price of air.
  • Margot And The Nuclear So & So’s head the incredible indie friendly bill that will take over the Bowery Ballroom for an official CMJ show begining at 8:00 p.m.
