Watch: Matt & Kim out in the “Daylight”
The hilariously cute Brooklyn duo Matt & Kim have been making people smile since 2004 with their simplistic and energetic dance beats. Now, in preparation of their forthcoming album, Grand, the video for the record’s upcoming single “Daylight” has been released for all those smiling people.
The “Daylight” video features the same spunky and wacky behavior we’ve all grown to love from the couple, who’re found squeezing into one too many overly cramped and unrealistic spaces to perform. Whether folded over inside the refrigerator, crammed inside a tiny closet or getting mucky in a dumpster, it’s apparent that these kids are all about fun! As they find themselves in one awful situation after another, Matt & Kim continue to smile, laugh and bob their heads wildly to the beat with no shame. The video ends with them being set free to peacefully float up into the sky, thanks to some goofy stop-motion animation.
If you’ve already seen all the funny and wonderful things these two can accomplish, then by all means feast your eyes on the wonderful video below. If this is your first time, be prepared to be blown away by a feet-tapping, groove-making good time. Oh and don’t forget to check out the dates for their new fall tour!
