So where’s my Dr. Pepper?
Now that Axl has delivered - well, almost - it’s time for Dr. Pepper to live up to its promise and treat everyone in America to a free soda. Thankfully, it appears the soda company is just as excited about the November 23rd release of Guns N’ Roses’ long-awaited Chinese Democracy as we are, and has already formulated its free soda giving plan.
“We never thought this day would come,” said Tony Jacobs, vice president of marketing for Dr Pepper. “But now that it’s here all we can say is: The Dr Pepper’s on us.”
So how do we go about getting our free Dr. Pepper?
1. On the Nov. 23, 2008 release date, go to http://www.drpepper.com
2. Register your information to receive a coupon for one free 20-oz. Dr. Pepper.
3. When your coupon arrives, redeem it wherever Dr Pepper is sold.
4. Drink your Dr Pepper slowly to experience all 23 flavors. Dr’s orders.
Coupons will only be available for 24 hours so make sure you get in on the fun. Unfortunately, they won’t be arriving for 4-6 weeks, meaning we won’t be able to sip those 23 flavors while listening to those 14 tracks. Oh, well, after 17 years, we do have a right to be a bit greedy.
