Ray Davies unveils more U.S. dates
While whether The Kinks will reunite sometime in 2009 remains to be seen, the band’s frontman is sure using the rest of 2008 to make the most of his solo career. Since releasing his sophomore studio album, Working Man’s CafĂ©, last October in the U.K., Ray Davies has spent a good part of the last 12 months touring in support of the effort, a trend that will continue well into December thanks to a new round of recently announced North American stops.
Davies also became the latest high-profile musician to dabble in the “finer arts,” recently penning Come Dancing, a musical based on The Kinks’ 1983 hit song of the same name.
