Over the last three afternoons, you may have had problems accessing Consequence of Sound. For the first time ever, this is not the fault of our technological ineptness, but actually the result of some problems being experienced on our servers. We apologize for any problems this may have caused and would like to thank you for your understanding.

Just in case afternoons are the only time you try to access the site, we figured it’d be a nice time to provide a little recap.

• David came up with the Top 10 Stoner Albums…and it sparked quite a debate.

• Noel is looking ahead to Oasis next album, Noah hopped back on the Whale, Eminem will be serving the role of Santa this year, and The Flaming Lips are hard at work on a new album.

• Drew dusted off Radiohead’s The Bends…and it sparked quite a debate.

• Luke offered up his review of The Cure’s new album, 4:13 Dreams.

And while we still have you attention, we’d like to point out that our friends over at WNEW are currently holding a ticket giveaway for Ryan Adams & the Cardinal’s Halloween concert at New York’s Apollo Theater. Who wouldn’t want to rock along to “Halloweenhead” on Halloween itself?
