Watch: Ryan Adams & The Cardinals stop by Dave

Ryan Adams may still have yet to accomplish his desire to be referred to as just one of The Cardinals, at least when it comes to late night T.V. introductions, but that didn’t stop the North Carolina natives and his faithful bandmates from offering up a stunning rendition of “Fix It” on The Late Show With David Letterman last night. Adams’ passionate vocals combined with the Cardinals stellar musicianship not only added a nice live punch to Cardinology gem, but demonstrated just how tight the singer/songwriter’s handpicked outfit has become. Needless to say, the video below is definitely worth checking out. Dave of course loved it as week, but then again, that’s not saying too much. He’s had a man crush on Ryan Adams for years.

As alluded to in the video, this is just half of the band’s performance on Letterman. They also performed “Cobwebs”, but you’ll have to head over to Dave’s site for that.

Now that the late night tunage and surprise gigs are out of the way, Adams & The Cardinals now have that special Halloween performance to look forward to. Oh Friday night can’t come soon enough…
