CoS Giveaway: Coheed and Cambria = Guitar Hero
One of the most appealing attributes of games like Guitar Hero and Rock Band is that they let someone with absolutely no musical skill (like yours truly), taste rock stardom. Okay, so maybe gaining superstar status and virtual groupies just because you “five starred” a cover set isn’t even close to the same thing, but hey, it’s something. And after seeing a band like Coheed and Cambria dazzle Terminal 5 as part of its Neverender tour, games likes these provide a nice outlet to relive some of those stunning live renditions of “Welcome Home” and “Crossing the Frame”.
To help you get a bit closer to the real thing and to celebrate Coheed’s still ongoing Nevender fun, Consequence of Sound has six Coheed and Cambria Guitar Hero and Rock Band skins to give away, one of which is autographed by the band, courtesy of MusicSkins.
This time around, we’re going to throw a wrench into our usual giveaway equation. If interested in winning one of these skins, shoot us an email with your name, mailing address, and 100 words or less on your favorite Coheed and Cambria moment. It can be about anything: your favorite riff, lyric, character, or even a live experience. The person who can come up with the best one will win the autographed guitar skin. We’ll notify all six winners on Tuesday, November 4.

My favourite coheed moment is the willing well series. or more specifically the willing well II: from fear through the eyes of madness. the moment when claudio sings ‘with your last breath of air….’ is perfect. makes hairs stand on end.
