Little Boots readies debut EP
Hot of her appearance at the CMJ Music Marathon, Little Boots, aka Victoria Hesketh, will soon take the next step in forever ridding our minds of Amy Winehouse with the release of her debut EP. On November 18th, the 25-year-old Brit will offer up Arecibo, a four-track composition featuring previously released singles, “Stuck on Repeat” and “Meddle”, along with a pair of remixes. While we’ll still a ways away from a full-length effort, between the forthcoming EP, various YouTube covers, and upcoming tour dates, the world shouldn’t have any trouble fulfilling their disco friendly, Hot Chipped-approved sounds and styles of Hesketh in the coming months. Thank goodness considering “you know who” is back in the news…

I’m sorry to tell you but although Amy Winehouse may be a mess she is way way more talened than Little Boots. Amy is a very good singer. If this music was put out by a guy or even an unattractive woman, no one would even bother to listen. It’s the same old tired re-hashed beats.
