Katy Perry lines up world tour
Whether you love her or hate her, it’s hard to dispute the fact that Katy Perry has had one hell of a year. Since the release of One of the Boys back in June, the Santa Barbara native has hit gold, been embroiled in controversy, and become MTV’s last great poster child in the span of five months. And all because she “kissed a girl and liked it.”
In the next step of her career, Perry will look to take her pop-friendly act on the road for her first worldwide tour. The four month trek, which will kick off on January 23rd in Seattle, will feature two separate U.S. legs along with a slew of dates across Europe. Danish pop outfit Alphabet has been tapped as support for all North American dates, while hip-hoppers 3OH3! will join Perry overseas.
Tickets for all North American shows will be available via ticketmaster.com begining November 14th.
