Freezepop’s new EP and more!

For as bitchin’ as synth-pop band Freezepop is, the Boston natives have two major flaws: they rarely go on tour and are godly slow at putting out new material. So when the three-piece outfit is in the headlines, Freezepop fans have the right to go wild.

As alluded to in our recent interview with frontlady Liz Enthusiasm, the band has spent the recent months preparing a new EP. Three weeks after our talk, Form Activity Motion is finally here! Described by Liz herself as “a double-whammy of fantastic-ness,” the eight track EP features mostly “Frontload” remixes, done by a huge lot of their friends, is oodles and oodles of fun!

Form Activity Motion includes a few other goodies as well, such as a previously unreleased acoustic version of “Plastic Stars”, a new track entitled “Moons of Jupiter” and the brand-spankin’ new “Frontload” video, which you can check out below. Between the goofy and funky new remixes and the rockin’ new video, (featuring the band and a slew of their friends riding around in Taxi cabs en route to the “party through the ice and the streets”), Form Activity Motion proves to be yet another stunning example of the successful trio’s work. And as an added bonus, if you look close enough, you’ll even catch sight of Seth Demastus Kennedy (a.k.a. ultimate fill-in guy) in the cab as well!

Be sure to grab this stellar EP now via iTunes or look out for the official CD copy which will be released in stores early on next year.
