Mötley Crüe takes Sainthood on the road
After spending the summer celebrating the release of its ninth studio album, Saints of Los Angeles, and playing hosts for the inaugural North American Crue Fest, Mötley Crüe will look to keep the rock going with a 25-city-plus North American tour begining early next year. Scheduled to kick off in San Diego on February 2nd, the “Saints of Los Angeles 2009 Winter Tour” will take Nikki Sixx and Co. across the country, specifically markets the band bypassed during the summer.
Providing support on the trek will be Hinder, Theory of a Deadman, and The Last Vegas, a Chicago based rock outfit which earned an opening slot after beating out nearly 8,000 other acts to win the Guitar Center sponsored Your Chance to Make Rock History contest. Pre-sale tickets are now available through the band’s website, while general tickets will go on sale begining November 21st via ticketmaster.com.
Following the North American dates, Mötley Crüe will hit Europe before returning back to the states for the second annual Crue Fest, scheduled to take place between the months of July and September.
