The Fray plots return
It’s been almost three years since The Fray first burst onto the scene with those bittersweet melodies of How to Save a Life. Three years since the Denver outfit’s debut album went double platinum and filled the radio waves with what turned out to be the soundtrack for frats and emo hideouts alike. Three years since I first saw the video of “Over the Head (Cable Car)” on MTVU and consequently wanted to put a bullet through my television set.
Ok, so depending on your tastes, I may either be giving The Fray too much credit or am being much too harsh. If you fit the latter, well, rejoice because on February 3rd, Issac Slade and Co. will return with the release for their self-titled sophomore effort. Produced by Aaron Johnson, the follow up to 2005’s How to Save a Life will be headed by its first single “You Found Me”, which will coincidentally debut later this week on Thursday’s episode of Lost. If you are one for the movie pictures or just aren’t too keen on silly plot lines, the song will be available as a stream via the band’s website beginning Thursday as well.
In support of the release, The Fray will kick off a nine-date North American club tour in early January. For those left out of the first leg, no worries, between the new live digital album included in your pre-order of The Fray, and and the expected, second, more extensive U.S. leg expected in the coming months, one shouldn’t have much problem find some sweet piano rock.

It’s a one-minute promo during the commercials of grey’s anatomy on abc
Apparently it will be a one minute promo video or something…
“Lost” doesn’t come back until the end of January/begining of February. are they going to play it over a ru-run, or just during a commercial?
